USM fan event kicks off football season
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) – The University of Southern Mississippi will kick off its football season with a fan event Saturday on the campus.
The annual Golden Eagle Fanfare event will be held at the Payne Center starting at 4 p.m.
Fans can meet the football team and coaches, USM cheerleaders and mascot and university officials.
Tickets are $5 per person and children ages six and under will be admitted free.
Tickets will be available at the door.
