Cholmondeley Castle – Roadwords on A49

 

Reconstruction work will be carried out to Barmere Bridge. 

Traffic traveling from South – North will be unable to access Cholmondeley Castle from the A49 and will have to take the alternative route A41 from Whitchurch.   Traffic traveling North – South will be able to access Cholmondeley Castle from the A49 taking the Bickerton Road turn.

There will be NO EXIT south on the A49 towards Whitchurch.

A temporary 7.5 tonne weight restriction will be in place (except for access) on a number of country lanes adjoining the road to be closed.
