M. Golf. Pepperdine Men’s Golf Begins Regional Play Tied for Seventh

TUCSON, ARIZ.– The Pepperdine men’s golf team turned in an even-par 284 at Thursday’s first round of the NCAA Southwest Regional, a solid score but a few strokes behind where the Waves need to be if they want to advance to the NCAA Championships.
Only the top five teams will move on to the NCAAs, and right now Pepperdine is in a tie for seventh place along with Oregon State.

Santa Clara Grabs Top Spot in Commissioner’s Cup Race

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Following a strong performance at the West Coast Conference men’s and women’s tennis championships, Santa Clara University has taken over the top spot in the race for the 2010-11 West Coast Conference Commissionerʼs Cup. The Broncos have moved into first place in the overall standings past the University of Portland, which had led since the start of the fall season.
